I've been thinking that it would be nice to have 1 day a year (or more) where I turned all electronics, heating/cooling devices, etc. off. There would also be no driving or any other kind of polluting (walking, cycling, or public transportation if necessary). Wait is this what Earth Day is? Haaaaa.
Anyways it couldn't be during school because of my silly laptop, and it couldn't be on a weekday at work, so probably a Sunday sometime in the summer would be best. It would certainly mean an early bedtime!

It's called Ice Storm Power Outage Day. Don't have a lot of those around these parts because we Minnesotans are smart and have underground power lines. We're fudged though if a big station gets hit. Which happens like once every ten years.
Perhaps you could bend the no polluting rule and burn a candle or two?
